Ok, this has to be the HOTTEST place in the whole wide world! Or maybe it was just the days we went when the electricity was off and this means the water goes off too… hence we ended up in the swimming pool at 1am -seriously I’ve never sweated so much in my life!
Ok, rant over. Why were we in Maga – good question; hippos! The most dangerous animals in the world and we went searching for them in a pirogue on the lake at Maga and boy did we find them – left right and centre and at one point just a little too close to for comfort... Beautiful scenery, and a nice relaxing ride oh and the food at the hotel was AMAZING! 3 course meals and they had potatoes; how much do I miss potatoes?! You can get them here but they are definitely few and far between.
