I was fascinated by the odd signs that edged the road - Daily Needs is Sam's local shop in Bolga, and the football one was on a street corner as we drove past. The Chicken Parts and HIV were just down the road from the Bosco Teacher Training College entrance - timely warnings to the students! There was a biblical air to many of the signs - one school bus boasted a vast sign across the windscreen simply saying GOD BLESS; others were a The Lord is My Shepherd Grocery Store, and a dress shop: Lilies of the Field Fashions... You couldn't make it up...

Signs by the road
